Our practice grew out of living and working internationally, seeing different ways of doing business, interacting with different cultures and having fun with it. We also noticed when we came back to the US that there are a lot of sub-cultures – different industries, different professional disciplines, different corporate cultures. Armed with that realization, our business and community development experience, education, and our enthusiasm for creating paths to growth, we decided to focus on “helping you define and grow your niche, locally and internationally”. We know at our core, that to create growth, we must have an understanding of the cultural, social, economic and physical context, so we rely on our experience, our research and analysis and then collaborative implementation.
We believe that the world is a fascinating place, that technology and globalization are making it change and come closer together, and pretty quickly, whether in Dakar, New York, Guatemala City, Milan or Hong Kong. We don’t know all the answers, but we’re curious, have a lot of great experience, and we’ll ask lots of good (and even some less good) questions of our clients, their customers, and the data… and we’ll partner with our clients to move forward, whether you’re growing in one city, across many states or around the globe. We think, we analyze, we ask questions, we identify and engage all stakeholders, and we rely both on a combination of instinct and data analysis, and story-telling to get the job done – because that’s what it’s ultimately about.
